Young Soul Rebels: Single Released Today!

Released today is the Young Soul Rebels single “I Got Soul” in aid of the charity War Child. The star studded Young Soul Rebels lineup includes a host of British talent including N-Dubz, Chipmunk, V.V.Brown, Egypt, Tinchy Stryder, Ironik, Bashy, McLean, Pixie Lot, Kid British, Mpho and Domino Go. A few weeks ago at the 2009 MOBO Awards we saw War Child honored with a BeMobo award for their massive achievements in helping children living in the worlds most dangerous war zones. The Urban Supergroup Young Soul Rebels were also in attendance at the 2009 MOBO Awards to perform for the FIRST TIME EVER, their "I Got Soul" single. It was a show stopping performance to conclude the evening's proceedings. An EXCLUSIVE to the 2009 MOBO Awards, the performance was the perfect culmination to the awards ceremony bringing a vast and diverse array of artists together on the MOBO stage for the first time. 

The track is intended to draw attention to the plight of the some 300,000 children around the world who are forced to engage in military combat. The hook line of the song “I Got Soul, But I’m not a soldier” has become somewhat of an iconic anthem and perfectly illustrates the tragic reality that throughout the world many children sadly are.
