Yasmin: MOBO TV Interview
The young beauty known as Yasmin might have made a name for herself last year but in 2012, that name is going to be cemented in music folk law. Since starting out initially as a DJ, the Glaswegian found herself as a featuring artist on Devlin's hit 'Runaway'. Since then, Yasmin has worked with pretty much with everyone you can think of developing her debut album which is due for release later this year. Last year saw the two top 40 hits 'On My Own' and the Labrinth produced 'Finish Line' hit the airwaves, with her new single 'Light Up (The World)' featuring Ms Dynamite and Shy FX about to embark on us, another hit is soon to enter that list.
In this exclusive interview with MOBO TV, Yasmin talks all the junctions in her music career so far and all the ones that might pop up soon. She tells us about her joy about being nominated for a MOBO Award last year and presenting one too but also reassures us she isn’t giant, it only seems that way since she was standing next to Adam Deacon, Tinchy Stryder and Dappy.
