TLC Reunite for the Last Time
In what is reported to be their last concert together, Rozonda ‘’Chilli'’ Thomas and Tionne ‘’T-Boz'’ Watkins are to take to the stage at the annual ‘Justin Timberlake and Friends’ concert, which will be held at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center on October 17th.
TLC were best known for their 90’s top ten hits “No Scrubs”, “Waterfall”, “Creep” and “Unpretty”. The group were originally a trio with concluding member Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, who also presented the 2001 MOBO Awards, whosadly died in a tragic car accident in April 2002.
T-Boz and Chilli last performed together in June 2003 in what was supposed to be their last concert, which was for New York radio station Z100. However the now duo will again reunite for Timberlake’s concert in Las Vegas, which will also benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children. Other artists said to be performing include Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift and Ciara.
So…if any of you MOBO readers happen to be in Las Vegas in October and want to reminisce to TLC classics, then we think you should know tickets go on sale on August 29th.
