Throwback Single Of The Week!!
In celebration of a fantastic 15 years of MOBO, every week, we will be taking the music back to when MOBO first began! Up this week is Gabrielle with 'Give Me A Little More Time' released in 1996!
Her debut single "Dreams" topped the UK Singles Chart in June 1993. The single entered the UK chart at #2, which was the highest chart entry a debut act had ever scored in the UK at that time. The following week it climbed to the top spot and spent the next three weeks there.
Gabrielle then went on to win the MOBO for Best Single, for ‘Give Me A Little More Time’ at the 1996 MOBO Awards.
