




1. The Pinkett Smiths’ attend Karate Kid Premier in Leicester Square London!
Jaden Smith and co-star Jackie Chan were in London last night promoting their film ‘The Karate Kid’! Also in attendance were Will, Jada and young Willow all looking absolutely fabulous! It is tipped to be a big summer smash so look out for the film when it hits cinemas July 28th in the UK! Check out the trailer below!
2. Damage confirm a reunion tour!
R&B boy band Damage have confirmed plans for a reunion tour after nine years apart! The previous MOBO nominees, who split up in 2001, will play a string of live shows and are considering releasing a Greatest Hits package. However, the band claimed that they currently have no plans for new material. Consisting of Emma Bunton's boyfriend Jade Jones, Noel Simpson, Coree Richards, Andrez Harriott and Rahsaan J Bromfield, the group released two studio LPs, Forever and Since You've Been Gone. Their biggest hit was a cover of Eric Clapton's 'Wonderful Tonight', which reached number three in 1997. We love Damage and are so glad they gearing up to do their thang again! Let’s hope they decide to make some new music! Watch this space people!
3. Stella McCartney designs Olympic kits!
Ahead of the 2012 London Olympics it has recently been announced that Stella McCartney has revealed will create the British Olympic team's kit! The fashion designer has been appointed creative director of the project and will oversee the design of the athletes' outfits as well as a special range for fans in partnership with Adidas. According to Sky News, McCartney said: "I have a million challenges. I have to make it look good on television, I have to make it feel good for the athletes and I have to make it work technically, it has to do its job." She added: "We're all so proud being British, and we're so excited about this moment and it's so historical for us. I think to be involved or have any kind of contact with this event is incredible." It certainly is, and now that a top British designer will be behind the kits it just got even better!
4. John Legend wants to work with Amy Winehouse and Beyonce!
John Legend has revealed that he loves collaborating with other artists on his album tracks! The singer, who worked with musicians such as Kanye West and The Roots on his new album ‘Wake Up!’ said that he is not shy about approaching musicians that he admires to work with him and is not usually turned down. He added that there are several people that he would love to record with in the future. "I have a few people that I'd love to write for or write with, like Amy Winehouse would be fun. Feist would be fun. Beyonce would be cool too, just to name a few." That would be awesome, fingers crossed it goes ahead!
