Scorcher and G Fresh in New Film Release 'Offender'
This week sees award winning independent film distributor Revolver release the brand new youth crime thriller movie Offender. The feature film directed by Ron Scalpello includes an impressive cast of British actors and grime artists, with lead role Tommy played by Skins actor Joe Cole. After the brutal attack of Tommy’s girlfriend, played by Kimberly Nixon (Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging) Offender sees Tommy set up his own incarceration in aid of setting revenge upon the gang responsible. Co-stars include Shaun Dooley (The Woman in Black), Daniel Kendrick (Love Bites) and UK artists English Frank, G Fresh and Scorcher. Check out the trailer below.
The release of Offender coincides with the anniversary of the London Riots last summer. The film’s production was supported by Carney’s Community, a charity which helps troubled young people with personal development and education in order to keep them away from crime. A portion of the net profit will be donated to the charity.
