Lyrical geniuses, good looking guys and now generous to their fans – is there anything that Rizzle Kicks duo Jordan and Harley can’t do? After selling thousands of copies of their debut album Stereotypical, which was released in October 2011, the twosome have released their next track ‘Nasty’ as a free download to thank everyone who bought it.
The fast pace of the song makes it stand out from the crowd in the UK scene right now, and the lyrics that have been written by the boys are quite simple phenomenal, making the song another infectious classic. Following their No.2 song Mama Do The Hump, this song is another dance tune from Rizzle Kicks, and will be sure to be one of the freshest beats in the current charts at the moment. The video to accompany it is just straightforward lyrics, with the animation coming from Lemonade Money.
Also releasing the song as a tribute to their inspiration Nas, American rapper and songwriter, the North London boys are taking over the UK one beat at a time. Their entertaining lyrics have created a new vibe in the UK charts, and they seem to be taking over the top 20 frequently with their memorable hits. Three top 10 singles, a Brit Award nomination and three MOBO Award Nominations later, and the lads were headlining their own sellout tour whilst singing tunes from their certified gold album.
Rizzle Kicks also have an abundance of festivals to play this summer, with Wireless, T in the Park, V Festival and Bestival snapping them up as quickly as they could. Girls all over the country are swooning over this fresh new duo, and guys are aspiring to be like them. At the age of 20 and 21, it is amazing to see how far they have come, and we can all wait in anticipation to see what they have in store over the next few months - and by the looks of things, the next few years!
