R.I.P Patrick Swayze 1952-2009
It’s been a sad 12 months for the entertainment industry. The passing of Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, DJ AM and now, actor Patrick Swayze.
Sadly last night, Swayze lost his 20 month battle with pancreatic cancer. It’s been reported that he passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
Most famous for his roles in ‘Ghost’ and ‘Dirty Dancing’, he was described as a “really good man, a funny man” by his friend and co-star Whoopi Goldberg. She continued by saying “I owe [Patrick] much that I can’t ever repay. I believe in ‘Ghost’s’ message, so he’ll always be near”.
“Patrick you are loved by so many and your light will forever shine in all of our lives” were the heart filled words that Demi Moore said about her co-star.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Swayze family at this difficult time.
