Rihanna has revealed that she wants to collaborate with Lady Gaga! The R&B star said that she 'does a similar type of music' to the pop singer. According to WENN, the 'Umbrella' performer explained: "A collaboration between Gaga and myself would be really cool because we do a similar type of music and we both really love fashion.”I'm sure it would be a very hot and sexy video. I would love to collaborate with her, who wouldn't?” In related news it has also been confirmed that Rihanna is set to star in her very first feature length film! The singer will star in Universal’s Battleship alongside Taylor Kitsch (“Friday Night Lights”) and Alexander Skarsgard (“True Blood”) The live-action movie, directed by Hancock’s Peter Berg, is based on Hasbro’s naval combat board game. Universal has set a May 25, 2012, release date for Battleship, which takes place in the sea, in the sky, and on land in a battle to save the planet against a superior force. Kitsch stars as a naval officer who leads the fight, while Skarsgard will play his brother. Shooting is set to begin soon in Hawaii!!

Jamelia has confirmed that she has signed a new record deal! The 'Money' singer, who parted ways with EMI in 2007, signed the deal live on UStream watched by fans. In her management's offices, Jamelia said it was a "very exciting day for me" and added that she "wanted to share it with my fans". The 29-year-old was emotional as she signed the deal in front of the management team and her two children. Who the deal is with remains under raps.
