Rhian Benson: MOBO TV Acoustic Sessions
MOBO Award winning artist Rhian Benson returns this year with her eagerly anticipated sophmore album 'Hands Clean'. Having previously worked with Grammy Award-winning producers Bob Power (Chaka Khan, A Tribe Called Quest) and James Poyser (Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo) Rhian became one of the hottest artists in soul / jazz / R&B, culminating in her MOBO Best Jazz win in 2005.
On 'Hands Clean' Rhian takes on an exciting new sound with the help of rising star production duo Daniel Fridell and Jonas Rendbo. The end result is a stark and soulful collection of pulsating electronic grooves; a hidden ground where Sade meets DJ Shadow.
Rhian recently dropped by MOBO HQ to perform her 1st single from the new album 'Better Without You'.
