Oprah Special: Whitney Interview and Michael Jackson Tribute
In the new season of Oprah Winfrey’s award winning talk show, the queen of American TV has an exclusive interview with singer Whitney Houston. The Whitney appearance premiers on September 14th and has been called “the most anticipated interview of the decade”. In the interview Oprah asks Whitney about the troubles which have plagued the last few years of her career including her separation from Bobby Brown and her experiences on the road to recovery that have lead to the release of her new album ‘I Turn To You’
In addition to the interview with Whitney, two days later Oprah dedicates an episode of her talk show to the late great Michael Jackson. The episode will feature previously unseen footage from Oprah’s 1993 interview with Jackson and will explore the highlights of his amazing career. Oprah also talks to influential people in Michael’s life and work. The episode is due to be broadcast on the 16th September and we here at MOBO will certainly be watching.
