3. New Music: Shakira ft Dizzee Rascal – ‘Loca’!

Shakira, who’s following up her 2009 English album She Wolf with the bilingual Sale El Sol, has simultaneously released English and Spanish versions of the effort’s first single “Loca,” with U.K. grime rapper Dizzee Rascal spitting alongside the international superstar on the song’s English edition! 4. Chris Brown announces new single!

Chris Brown’s luck is definitely in! After his well-received tribute to Michael Jackson at the BET Awards, chart-topping single “Deuces,” and role in this weekend’s No. 1 movie Takers, the singer is keeping up the momentum by releasing new music for his fans! The 21-year-old star shared the announcement on Twitter, revealing that his new single will please his female fan base. “Geeked UP!!! NEW SINGLE called ‘Calypso’ coming real soon produced by POLOW DA DON,” he tweeted. “This is a song that women have been missing from ME!!” Oh really Mr. Brown, we shall just have to wait and see!

5. Beyonce has not fired Papa Knowles!

Rumors hit the internet recently that Beyonce joined her former Destiny’s Child band mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in firing her father, Mathew Knowles, as her manager! In his place, it was rumored; Beyonce would allow her business savvy rapper/mogul husband, Jay-Z, to guide her approaching-legendary career. Mr. Knowles’ Music World Entertainment recently released a statement saying, “Contrary to false rumors online, Beyoncé and her manager Mathew Knowles unequivocally have had and continue to have a close personal and business relationship. Mathew Knowles is the sole and exclusive manager of Beyoncé.” Good to hear because he has done a fair job so far!
