New Album: Whitney Houston
Whitney Houston seems set to hit the number one spot with her new album “I Look to You”. That is if the Amazon charts are anything to go by. “I Look to You” is currently number one on Amazon and is climbing up the U.S Billboard chart. The album will be released in the U.K on October 19th and has fans and critics alike waiting to see how the record will fare. So far the album has received a positive reception in the U.S with many seeing it as a return to form for Whitney. The album features a host of collaborations with the likes of Akon, R.Kelly, Dianne Warren and Alicia Keys. One of the standout tracks of the album is the funky up tempo “Million Dollar Bill” which features Alicia Keys on writing credits. The track is rumored to be the first single taken from the album and an accompanying video is expected to debut on September 16th. Another stand out of the album is the title track “I Look to You”, a soulful piano vocal ballad inspired by the struggles Whitney has experienced over the last few years. The song is a personal account of her efforts to overcome her problems and re establish herself as the legendary and iconic recording artist she truly is.
