N-Dubz To Reunite in 2015 As Fazer Reveals Plans For Huge Comeback
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the producer expressed his desire to get back together with his bandmates Tulisa Contostavlos and Dappy. The trio went on hiatus in 2011, looking to concentrate on their solo careers.
Fazer said: ‘We’ve been so busy with our own commitments that we haven’t had time to come back yet. But we're going to start recording in the second half of next year.’
What’s more, Fazer insists the group - who were formed in 2000 and went on to win four MOBO Awards - will be writing their own material once again. Speaking at the Malibu Rum Pina Colada Day Party - which took place at Disco Kingly Court, central London – he added: ‘We'll definitely be writing new material, we won’t just be using old stuff.
News of an N-Dubz comeback is sure to delight their hardcore fans. However, since going on hiatus the members of the group have taken different paths.
Dappy recently came second on Channel 5's latest series of Celebrity Big Brother, beaten by TV presenter Jim Davidson. Meanwhile, Fazer has released a handful of solo singles since N-Dubz’s break and set up his own production company, Sky's The Limit Entertainment, working on music for Jessie J and Tulisa.
Tulisa released her album, 'The Female Boss', in 2012, while appearing on The X Factor as a judge. Last year, she was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs following a sting set up by newspaper The Sun On Sunday. She is set to face trial on July 14, 2014.
