Mutya Plans to Reform Original Sugababes!

It appears that Mutya Beunna is planning to reform the original line up of the Sugababes. Although there were many rumors flying around about a possible reunion when the last of the original Sugababes Keisha Buchanan departed the group last month, it now seems there may be more truth to the rumors than first thought. Mutya has been in regular contact with both Keisha and Siobhan Donaghy over the last few weeks. A source close to the singer said "She was on the phone all last weekend trying to convince the girls to reform. Siobhan's considering it”. It appears that Mutya is incredibly keen to get the original Sugababes back together and recently met up with Siobhan for the first time in years. Now older and wiser, the girls may just be ready to have a second shot at the girl group following in the footsteps of a host of other groups that have reformed to great success including Take That and the Spice Girls.

It is believed that the original line up of Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan could reform in time for the release of the current “Sugababes” new album “Sweet 7”. Stay tuned to MOBO.com for more on this emerging story.
