MOBO Review: “Crawl†Chris Brown
Over here at MOBO headquarters we have been sent some fresh new music from the team at RCA/Sony records. One track that really stood out from the collection we were sent was Chris Brown’s latest single “Crawl”, the second single to be taken off his “Graffiti” album. Following on from the success of the album’s first single “I Can Transform Ya”, the new single “Crawl” is a real change of pace for Chris. “Crawl” is an emotive R&B ballad with deep, reflective and personal lyrics. Chris’s vocals are impressive as always and this song serves as a perfect showcase for his stylistic melodies and riffs. As well as being an immensely talented signer, Brown is also a gifted songwriter as he proves on this track, drawing on personal experiences to express something deeper than most of the other pop/R&B tracks that are floating around at the moment.
Crawl will be available for purchase from 14th March.
