1. Usher lines up ‘Lil Freak’ ft Nicky Minaj as his next UK single!

Smooth operator Usher is set to maintain his dominance on the world by releasing ‘Lil Freak’ ft Nicky Minaj as his next official UK single. The Polow Da Don production has already been released over in the states and has so far reached #40 on the US Billboard 100 and #8 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop singles chart. ‘Lil Freak’ acts as the follow up to his previous smash hit ‘OMG’. The sexual flare oozing from this track is very reminiscent of Usher’s early years and Nicky’s verse fits in well!

2. ‘Being N Dubz’ channel 4 documentary!

The new Channel 4 documentary ‘Being N Dubz’ sponsored by Adidas Originals is due to begin on Monday 21st June on 4music! The documentary will follow the group Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer through the trials and tribulations of their daily lives. It is scheduled to be a 6 episode series and give fans the unique opportunity to see how they are dealing with their continuous rise to fame! Make sure you tune in at 5.30pm on 4music and 11.15pm on Channel 4 if you can’t catch the first show; it’s not to be missed!

3. ‘Fela!’: Broadway’s hit musical headed to the silver screen!

Fela! is about the extravagant, decadent and rebellious world of Afro beat legend Fela Kuti. Using his pioneering music (a blend of jazz, funk and African rhythm and harmonies), Fela! explores Kuti's controversial life as artist, political activist and revolutionary musician. Off the back of Fela!’s fantastic success in America; racking up a total of 11 Tony Award nominations, 3 wins and producers Jay Z, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett at the helm, it has now been revealed that Fela! will be hitting our big screens as part of the National's NT Live series, the groundbreaking initiative will broadcast live performances of the play in high definition and broadcast via satellite to 300 cinemas and performing arts centers in 22 countries starting in November!
