




1. Michael Jackson video game announced!
Production company Ubisoft confirmed plans yesterday at the E3 convention in Los Angeles, to make Michael Jackson the subject of a new video game! The rhythm action dance game will see players earn points by emulating some of Jackson's signature dance moves, and will feature his music. The company's CEO Yves Guillemot announced: "We're delighted to have the opportunity to develop a game based on the songs and moves of one of the world's most incredible performers of all time. We expect the game to bring Michael Jackson fans, families and friends together with the energetic song and dance of the King of Pop." We can’t wait!

3. Labrinth signs to Simon Cowell’s label!
The producer and singer behind Tinie Tempah’s ‘Pass Out’ smash single yesterday announced he has signed a recording deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco record label. Labrinth is the first artist of his kind to sign to Syco, which houses the likes of Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle, and Westlife. It is also the first time in 6 years Syco have signed an artist unrelated to their TV platforms. This highlights an exciting time not only for the super-talented superstar-in-waiting, but also for the UK urban scene as a whole. Labrinth’s first single will be ‘Let the Sunshine’, due to be released summer 2010. An album will follow, and meanwhile Labrinth will also be concentrating on finding and nurturing new talent for his Odd Child/ Syco imprint. Congrats Labrinth!
4. Alicia Keys can’t wait to be a mother!
Alicia Keys has revealed that she can’t wait to be a mother! The Grammy award winning singer and MOBO nominee, who recently confirmed her engagement and pregnancy with fiancé, producer Swizz Beatz, has stated that her mother is a source of inspiration for great parenting. Speaking to ‘The Mirror’, the 29-year-old said: ‘I can’t wait to become a mum. No question. It’s the most beautiful gift in the world. Truly a gift from God.’
5. Transformers 3 to be released in 3D!
The director of ‘Transformers 3’, Michael Bay, confirmed that the next and third installment of the ‘Transformers’ franchise will be in 3D! It is not yet known if the sci-fi action-adventure will be shot in 3D or converted in post-production. As the last in a trilogy, the series will end with this story. Director Michael Bay had previously dismissed 3D as "a gimmick", and claimed “the way I shoot is far too aggressive for 3D cameras” - but appears to have changed his mind, following the new filmmaking technique's success. Previous ‘Transformers’ have been a huge success and now the third one is set to be in 3D it’s bound to be even more successful! It’s due to hit the big screens on July 1st 2011!
