Due to huge public demand, Michael Jackson: The Official Exhibition is to extend its stay at The O2 bubble venue, offering European fans a final chance to see the stunning collection. Showcasing some of the most personal and iconic memorabilia from The King of Pop’s extraordinary life, Michael Jackson: The Official Exhibition celebrates his unparalleled career, open for a limited European exclusive run at The O2 bubble.
The exhibit chronicles Michael’s rise to fame with The Jackson 5 at Motown Records, his record-breaking solo career as a global superstar and ends with the spectacular shows he had planned for The O2 arena before his untimely death on 25th June 2009. This extensive, never before seen collection is exhibited across nine different themed galleries and includes more than 200 objects.
Last month the MOBO team visited this one of a kind exhibition, which includes items that have never been displayed for public viewing, among them an original Jackson 5 contract, personally commissioned portraits, the largest publicly displayed collection of his iconic concert and video costumes, his personal Rolls Royce and the famous sequined glove. It was a very special experience to be able to have such a unique insight into a slice of history, so don’t miss it, catch it before it ends!
Fans of Michael should take full advantage of the extension and see this special exhibition before it closes its doors on the 28th February. For details see below:
