1. Lady Gaga buys Beyonce a whip for 29th birthday!

Lady Gaga reportedly gave Beyonce a diamond whip and lingerie for her 29th birthday! Gaga apparently wanted to give the RNB songstress "something special" as the pair have remained friends since recording 'Telephone' together last year. A source told The Sun: "The whip was made out of hundreds of diamonds and leather.”When Beyonce received it she squealed with excitement. The dressing room was decorated with balloons and banners." Gaga allegedly presented Beyonce with the whip and matching underwear in Jay-Z's dressing room, before singing 'Happy Birthday' to her. They then shared a bottle of champagne together to celebrate! Lady Gaga sounds like the kind of friend you would want this Christmas!!

2. The XX win Mercury Prize!

The XX have picked up the 2010 Barclaycard Mercury Prize! The London trio won the critics' choice award for their debut album xx, after competing against Paul Weller, Mumford & Sons and MOBO winners Dizzee Rascal and Corinne Bailey Rae amongst others. They collected the £20,000 winner's cheque from Jools Holland at the ceremony at London's Grosvenor House Hotel tonight. The XX have been met with critical praise since its release in August 2009, already selling 125,000 copies prior to the competition. The prestigious award, now in its 18th year, is voted for by a panel of music industry executives and experts. Acts traditionally experience a surge in album sales following the contest. Previous Mercury Prize winners include Elbow, Arctic Monkeys, Pulp and this year's competitors Weller and Rascal. Congratulations guys!

3. New Music Video: Neyo – ‘One In A Million’

Ne-Yo flexes his acting chops in the SkeetScorsese/Wayne Isham-directed video for “One in a Million,” the third single off his fall album release Libra Scale. Filmed on the Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood, the clip sees the singer-songwriter backed by his boys as he chases after a girl that doesn’t want to have anything to do with him. With a little magic and some slick dance moves, Ne-Yo tries his luck and doesn’t give up. Check out the video below!

4. Jason Derulo announces UK tour!

Jason Derulo has announced details of a headline UK tour! The singer will begin his nine-date jaunt across the country in February next year. The string of concerts kick off in Bournemouth on February 17 and wraps up at London's Hammersmith Apollo on March 1. Derulo's self-titled debut has sold over 100, 00 copies in the UK, peaking at number eight on the album chart. His first three singles, 'Watcha Say', 'In My Head' and 'Ridin' Solo', have accumulated a total of 1.3 million downloads. Tickets for the shows go on sale from 9.30am on Friday September 10, priced between £24 and £26.

5. New Music: Willow Smith – ‘Whip My Hair’!

Willow Smith is on grown girl movements with her new track “Whip My Hair,” her introduction to the music biz! The sleek, club-ready joint sees the nine-year-old encouraging her fellow gals to snap their heads back and forth and whip that hair like a helicopter. Taking cues from her fashion idol Rihanna, the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith shows that this little diva-in-training has what it takes to tussle with the big girls!
