Kelly Rowland’s new video is finally out after an advanced version was leaked on the net but quickly removed a few weeks ago. The song and video has a Euro-pop feel to it which is definitely a different Kelly to the one we used to know from the Dilemma days. She has worked with the infamous David Guetta again, and the track could be the summer hit of 2010? What is your take on it? Do you love it or loathe it?
2. Drake $$$$$ in first week!!!
Drake just gave the music industry a run for its money by selling over 400,000 albums in his first week. This is full proof that hip hop is not dead and if it was it has come alive. Drake is now the full definition of what hip hop is and what it stands for.
3. We Miss you MJ – A true legend
OMG time has gone by so quick, it is nearly a year since the legend Michael Jackson passed away and a few entertainers will be performing tributes in his honor. Christina Aguilera will be performing a tribute to Michael Jackson later this week. Alongside Marc Anthony, LL Cool J, Smokey Robinson and James Morrison, the singer will be featured in an hour-long CBS special entitled ‘The King of Pop: One Year Later’.
4. South African Blessing for unborn baby!!!
For the past few years Alicia Keys has been blessing the South African people through her aid but now it is their time to reward her for her generous efforts. Alicia and her fiancé have blessed their unborn baby in a Zulu ceremony in South Africa. Keys and Swizz Beatz were in South Africa for the World Cup concert. The pair and their unborn child received a native blessing from the South African priests as a way to thank Alicia for all the work she has been doing with the people of South Africa.
5. Who wants to be the next mini-mogul? You guessed it! Jaden Smith!
Child star Jaden Smith,11, is making his rapping debut on a new song titled “Never Say Never”, which was sung by teen star Justin Bieber ,16.
“Never Say Never” is featured on the soundtrack for Jaden’s movie “The Karate Kid”. The Karate Kid, a remake of the 1980 film hit the American theaters on June 11th.
