Jay-Z's 'Blueprint 3'

'The Blueprint 3' is arguably the most eagerly awaited hiphop album of all time. Today's music industry is affected by piracy, leakages and illegal download sites, as a result record labels are working harder to produce music which sells quickly and most importantly… lasts.

In interviews regarding the album, Jay-Z has made his intentions clear that he wants to create a new “classic” and that he isn’t creating music for music’s sake.

The fifteen track project features 8 Kanye West productions and has appearances from the likes of Pharrel Williams of the Neptunes, Drake, Mr Hudson, Kid Cudi, Alicia Keys and Kanye West himself.

The Blueprint 3 drops on September the 11th, 8 years to the day since the 9/11 tragedy. The release date guarantees the release of the third installment of the trilogy to be a monumental one.
