Jay-Z To Play At London Roundhouse
The man known as Hova is coming to Run This Town at the London Roundhouse Venue. Jay-Z will headline the Camden venue, on the 17th September to promote the eagerly anticipated Blueprint 3 album between his forthcoming support slots for Coldplay.
Jay-Z's new single, 'Run This Town', featuring Rihanna and Kanye West, who produced 'The Blueprint 3', is out now. The new single is taken from Jay-Z’s new album The Blueprint 3, which drops on September 11. The video for "Run This Town" was shot in New York and directed by Anthony Mandler, who also directed Jay Z's music video, ‘D.O.A.’ and ten of Rihanna’s music videos including ‘Shut up and Drive’ and ‘Unfaithful’
Speaking of the new album - the third in a trilogy; Jay Z states: “Blueprint pays homage to the soul music our parents played [and] recognises that there is a generation of us that are influencing the next wave of artists. The album lays the groundwork for what can happen next."
The Roundhouse gig comes ahead of planned dates with Coldplay at Wembley Stadium on 18 and 19 September.
