Janet Jackson has vowed to return to the UK as a live performer in the near future! Although the R&B singer performed on ‘The X Factor’ last year in support of her Greatest Hits collection, she has not played a full UK live date since 1998's 'The Velvet Rope World Tour'! Can you even believe it’s been that long?! Discussing the possibility of future UK shows, she told ‘Digital Spy’: "I would really love to - it's been 12 years since I've played here in Europe and I miss it a great deal. The last tour [I took to Europe] was 'The Velvet Rope'. "I wanted to come over with my other tours but I was nervous when we started the war. I was very worried. I'm not giving up singing for acting though. I love it too much. I'll come back for sure." Absolutely love me some Janet, would be great to see her on our shores again!

2. New Music Video: Tinie Tempah ft Eric Turner: ‘Written in the Stars’!

Our homeboy Tinie, has released the official music video for his next single ‘Written in the Stars’, taken from his debut album ‘Disc-Overy’, due for release on October 4th! The track is a refreshing diversion from the sounds of ‘Pass Out’ and ‘Frisky’. Listened to it a few times now and I must say it’s definitely a grower! I think he has another smash hit on his hands! 3. Kelly Rowland’s new track ‘Rose Colored Glasses’ has been shot in 3D!

It has been reported that acclaimed fashion photographer Rankin has directed the 3D video for the beautiful Miss Kelly Rowland! Having photographed some of Hollywood’s biggest names including Madonna, Vivienne Westwood, and Britney Spears, Rankin’s music video resume includes Nelly Furtado’s ‘Say It Right’ and Kelis’ ‘Acapella’ videos. It’s great seeing Kelly finally working with some industry leaders and to step up with a 3D video, kudos Kelly, keep doin’ your thang! Can’t wait to see the vid!

4. Kanye West confirmed to perform at this years MTV VMA’s!

Following that infamous Taylor Swift moment at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards which led to his being banned, Kanye West has been invited back to the VMA’s and confirmed to perform at the award show next month! This is great news because despite his antics at last years show he is still a fantastic artist and the Award show wouldn’t be the same without him! Other confirmed acts include Drake and Florence & The Machine to perform this year’s awards show on September 12th. We look forward to it!

5. Ciara lines up two new music videos!

It’s been a tumultuous few months for R&B star Ciara. While her comeback single ‘Ride’ has gone on to become an urban smash, the 24 year old’s ‘Basic Instinct’ LP has been subject to a series of delays. The album is now due in October. However, the dedicated performer is readying not one, but two new music videos! Hurray! Everyone loves a good Ciara video! According to reports she is to begin shooting the videos for ‘Gimmie Dat’ and ‘Speechless’ in the coming weeks. We can’t wait, if ‘Ride’ was anything to go by these two videos should be a scorching smash! Go CiCi!
