James DeGale London Olympics 2012!

As the city of London is making preparations for the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games, stars from the world of sport past and present are flying the flag for the U.K as the host nation. Earlier this week British boxing star and former Olympic gold medalist James DeGale was on hand at ExCeL, the venue that will become the main arena for boxing at the 2012 London Olympics. The venue is due to host seven Olympic events - including the showcase boxing events - and six Paralympic events. James DeGale is a prominent figure in British boxing and has previously taken time out of his busy schedule to present at the 2008 MOBO Awards.

James was joined by female boxing stars Hannah Beharry and Lesley Sackey to visit the boxing arena in the lead up to the 2012 Olympic Games which for the first time will include female boxing as an event. The games will be one of the biggest events in London’s history and MOBO will be getting behind the initiatives and development that the Olympics will bring to the city.
