Franklyn Music 'William Wordsworth'
I'm pretty sure that I make up 75% of the listens on this song. Having replaying it over and over you'd think I wrote it, the line “I’m something like William Wordsworth.. If I don’t live what I say, then what are my words worth?” has stuck itself firmly in my head. The soulful artist Franklyn Music released the video to the public on the 19th of April and is off his first mixtape "Just Being Frank".
His poetic verses find inspirations from poetic legends such as Shakespeare & William Wordsworth. A bold statement which is yet to be challenged. A lover of poetry myself I'm rather impressed, why have I not come across him properly before? Only briefly (shame on me). Franklyn speaks about the lack of artistry in his generation and expresses how he wants to use music to inspire. We see a promising future for him in the music industry and look forward to more of his work.
