According to The Roots’ drummer, ?uestlove, a super group consisting of Amy Winehouse, Raphael Saadiq and The Roots has been confirmed! He spoke to AOL’s Spinner, saying “the group is definitely going to happen” but that no name had been chosen for the outfit. Apparently the main problem that is halting progress is the fact that Winehouse is finding it difficult to obtain a visa but ?uestlove isn’t worried saying “I’ll be in France for four, five days, so I’ll see if she’s up for discussing this over dinner…We’ve been Skype-ing the sh– out of each other.” Hopefully they get it sorted because this sounds like it could be a match made in musical heaven!
2. Kelis cooks up a ‘bbq’ at T4 on the beach!
According to reports Kelis cooked a barbecue backstage at Sunday’s T4 on the Beach in celebration of American Independence Day! She apparently insisted on cooking a barbecue so she could celebrate the occasion how she usually does when she is back home. Showbiz Spy quotes a source as saying: "Kelis was cooking up a storm backstage. The smell of the steaks on the BBQ was mouth watering. Perhaps Channel 4 should give her a cooking show of her own!" The 30-year-old, who was performing at the concert, allegedly bought a selection of food for the barbeque and began cooking rib eye steaks, salmon, corn on the cobs, hamburgers and hot dogs! Love it! Wish we were there to sample some of her cooking! Kelis' single '4th of July (Fireworks)' was out yesterday!

4. T in the Park bans vuvuzela’s!
The organizers of this year’s T in the Park festival have banned vuvzela’s at this year’s event. The horn like instrument, which has become a staple for football fans at this year's Fifa World Cup, has caused controversy because of the distinctive monotone/mosquito sound it makes. An email was sent out to ticket holders saying if they did come to the festival with the instrument they would be confiscated because they are not suitable for music festivals. If you are going to this year’s T in the Park, leave your vuvuzela at home!
