Alesha Dixon hints at Mis-Teeq reunion: 'It would be disastrous not to'
After twelve years away, Mis-Teeq is set to reunite after Alesha Dixon, who is currently serving as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, confirmed the group would reunite in the very near future. Appearing on Lorraine on Friday (April 7), Dixon said: “I don’t know what we’re waiting for really, to be honest.
“We’re talking, we love each other – we’d love it to happen one day.”
She continued: “Timing is key. At the moment, obviously I’m in the studio working on solo material and I’m working on some other things, so it’s just finding that time to do it.
“It would be disastrous to not do something because the history we have together and the fact that, if it wasn’t for the girls, I wouldn’t be doing anything that I’m doing now.
“And I love them – so it’d be nice.”
The girl group – who primarily consisted of Sabrina Washington, Alesha Dixon and Su-Elise Nash – disbanded in 2005. However, during their six-year run the group achieved great commercial success, scoring two UK top 10 albums, MOBO Awards and two top 5 singles.
No official reunion date is on the cards at the moment, but we’re excited either way!
