The African & Caribbean War Memorial share fundraising single "I Have A Song"

At present, in the UK and throughout Europe, there is no memorial for the 2 million plus African and Caribbean soldiers who risked their lives and fought side-by-side with British combatants in the line of duty. However, thanks to the African and Caribbean War Memorial, this is about to change. The purpose of the African and Caribbean War Memorial is to pay tribute to the significant role and sacrifice made on behalf of King & Country by African and Caribbean servicemen and women in World War I and World War II.

In support of the memorial, The Nubian Jak Community Trust launched fundraising single, “I Have A Song”. The single was composed by Eric Roberson and brings the worlds of R&B, Reggae, Gospel, Afrobeat, Rap, and Grime together to raise funds for memorial.

The single is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and the main digital vendors. Proceeds from sales will enable a formal and stunning unveiling ceremony which is due to include a member of the royal family and other dignitaries.
