Lioness may have been around the music scene for a while, but now is her time to roar. By working with almost everyone in UK’s urban music, she explains how she has battled with stereotypes classing her as a singer by the way she dresses and only classing her good for a female. However, 2011 has been a great year for Lioness as she has finally got the recognition she has deserved with the rise of female MC’s grabbing a lot of the limelight.

Also, Lioness told us her ‘367’ collaboration with Lady Leshurr and A. Dot is not a crew and is just friends who like music coming together after The Grime Report posted their ranks in terms as being a female MC for all of you who thought it was. Lioness also got to work on the remix of Ms Dynamite’s comeback single ‘Neva Soft’ to which she was extremely pleased with as Ms Dynamite still ranks as her favourite female MC.
