MOBO Awards 2002

In 2002 the MOBO awards returned to the London Arena for the second year running. The ceremony was hosted by the dynamic pairing of Alesha Dixon and LL Cool J. The awards featured live performances from Craig David, Ashanti, Ms Dynamite, Ja Rule, Sean Paul, Sugababes and the legendary Chaka Khan as well as a performance from the host of the night, LL Cool J. Amongst the big winners of the night were Ashanti, Neptuens, Mis-Teeq, Ja Rule and Norah Jones but the start of the night was Ms Dynamite who picked up an incredible 3 awards. MOBO also paid tribute to the LAte Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez by honouring her with the Outstanding Achievment to Music award.
