MOBO Awards 1999

Hosted by Wyclef Jean, and Mel G, the 1999 Mobo awards returned once again to the beautiful Royal Albert Hall. Nominees for the prestigious awards included Roots Manuva, Fatboy Slim, DMX, Busta Rhymes, Whitney Houston and Laryn Hill. Performers on the night included legend Tina Turner, Hip-Hop mogal Jay-Z, Mr Vegas, Destinys Child, Another Level, Black Mambaza, Method Mand & Redman, Honeys and Kele le Roc. Winners on the night included Nine Yards, Eleven Seven, Jay Z, Shanks and Bigfoot, Incognito, Beverly Knight, Laryn Hill, TLC, Beenie Man and Rodney Jerkins.
